The Medical program provides the following training and experience. Students learn:

• Basic anatomy and physiology


• Medical Terminology


• Legal and ethical aspects of health care and communications


• Practical Medical Assistant skills and therapy skills


• Human Growth/Anatomy/Physiology/Nutrition


• Computers in Health Care


• Diagnostic Examination skills

Careers in the Medical Field

• Home Health Aide


• Personal and Home Care Aide


• Nursing Aides, Orderlies and Attendants


• Medical Assistant

Articulation Agreements

Students who meet all the requirements of the Tech Prep Program will receive credit and admission preference into these Post Secondary Programs:

• Penn College of Technology (an affiliate of Penn State)

Students in the Medical program are eligible for:

• Pennsylvania Skills Certificate


• Nurse Aide Registry


• Heartsaver First Aid


• Heartsaver CPR
